Trading AI Profit Structure

Our model is profit-based only and uses a high-water mark system. Performance shares are calculated solely on new net profits above the highest account value previously reached.

Example 1 — Loss Recovery

Starting Capital: $15,000

Account drops to $14,000 (–$1,000)

The bot later generates $2,000 in trading gains

Account reaches $16,000

Even though the bot produced $2,000 in gains, the first $1,000 recovered the previous loss. Net profit above the high-water mark: $1,000. Performance share is calculated only on the $1,000.

Example 2 — High-Water Mark

Starting Capital: $15,000

Bot generates $2,000 profit in the first month → account reaches $17,000

The account later drops $500 → $16,500

The bot then generates $1,000 → account reaches $17,500

The previous high-water mark was $17,000. Only $500 is the new net profit above the previous peak. Performance share is calculated only on the $500.

Simple Rule

You only pay performance fees when the account reaches a new profit level. Recovering losses never counts as profit.
